Introduction

Sara SOP helps you capture or import images and organize them into step-by-step standard operating procedures (SOPs). The service is available as a browser app and a Chrome extension. You can use it without creating an account.

Information We Collect

Sara SOP does not transmit SOP content to its developer. The Chrome extension stores screenshots it captures, images you select from your device, and image names in IndexedDB in Chrome. Description groups are stored in the browser's local storage. The extension accesses the active tab when you invoke its preview or capture features. The browser app can capture a screen or app window that you explicitly choose to share, or accept images you select from your device; it stores these images and descriptions in the current browser.

How We Use Information

Information stored in your browser is used only to display, edit, organize, save, and copy your SOP content. If you choose Copy for Document, the extension places the selected SOP content on your device's clipboard. If you choose a folder and save images, the extension writes image files to that folder at your direction. Folder selection and file saving are optional.

Data Storage and Security

Content remains in browser storage on your device until you delete it or clear the extension's browser data. Files you save are stored in the folder you selected. The extension does not upload or synchronize your content. The security of your browser profile and selected folder depends on your device and operating system; anyone with access to them may be able to access your files.

Third-Party Services

The Chrome extension does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party data processing services. The browser app loads typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser requests font files from Google. The app does not send SOP content or screenshots to Google Fonts.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the extension changes. The latest version and its revision date will be published with the extension.
